When Punk Rock, Horror, and Motorcycles collide to decompose life's daily struggles, Los Pistoleros deliver a macabre sound of Psychobilly. Pulling crowds to the pit and dance floor with blister popping slaps of the upright bass, sinister lyrics and hasty guitar all held together by thunderous drums. Los Pistoleros is Northern Nevada's preeminent Psychobilly group.

BACKGROUND / HISTORY
Formed in 2010 originally comprised of Andy86 (upright bass), Chris Pistolero (vocals & guitar), and Spencer Pistolero (drums) the trio began playing to the thirsty city of Reno, NV. Shortly there after Julio Pistolero (guitar) joined completing the line up, and 2011 their self-titled debut "Los Pistoleros" hit the scene. Setting the West Coast ablaze with their wild stage antics such as Andy 86 setting fire to his stand up, lively crowds gather to slam dance the night away in the pit. In 2014 with a strong following Los Pistoleros released "Devil in the Mirror" where fans can enjoy a brilliant mix of Horror Punk, Rockabilly, and Surf. Both Chris and Julio drench the microphone as lead vocalist, supporting vocals and bass by Andy 86 and Spencer on drums. Los Pistoleros hit the road again to spread the musical gospel of Psychobilly across the west coast; However, at the end of the year both Chris and Spencer departed Los Pistoleros due to personal life changes.
Although the band was going through changes that did not detour Los Pistoleros from producing their third album "Mortuary Music" the following year 2016. Julio continued on as lead vocals and guitar, Andy 86 on bass and back up vocals, while adding in a new drummer Chris "CHOPS" Pistolero. This album keeps up with the Horror Punk while adding a motorcycle enthusiast's feel making sure your need for speed is met with songs like "Two Wheel Terror" and "Mortuary Music". Shortly thereafter CHOPS went on to pursue other musical endeavors and for the next few years Los Pistoleros worked with other talented drummers to continue to slay across the stage in cities in the West.
Then in 2020 Los Pistoleros were eagerly picking up tour dates and writing new material when the progress was abruptly stopped as Los Pistoleros encountered tragedy. Andy 86 had been in a motorcycle accident in April 2022 leaving him with life threatening injuries. Doctors didn't know if he would walk again due to his spinal cord being nearly completely severed and the significant damage done to his Lumbar section of his spine. In addition, he had suffered a skull fracture with bleeding in the brain along with other broken bones.
Devastated Los Pistoleros canceled the summer tour for 2022 and waited in anticipation for the recovery of their bandmate. After three surgeries (two spine one ankle) and weeks in the ICU/ hospital/ rehab center, Andy 86 "Slap Nasty" WALKED OUT of the hospital against all odds, a changed man. Relieved he is alive he still has a long road of recovery. Nevertheless, in just three short months Los Pistoleros is back at practicing, writing music, and planning gigs to keep up with their undying love to the Art of Psychobilly, literally rising back from the dead. During this year many changes were over come and long time singer Julio stepped away from the band.
As Stars align, drummer Jerry Blount - Johnny Smash and the original Singer/Guitarist Chris- C.X. have come together to resurrect the charisma, drive and goals of long time band Los Pistoleros. Recording a new single at Dog Water Studio in December 2023. You can catch the new single “Reaper” out soon on all streaming platforms as well as new videos, and a new Album in the works. Be sure to catch these guys live as they tour 2024.
